Industrial and Mathematical Statistics Tutorial
In the tutorials offered by our department, we cultivate the ability to overview a broad range of statistical fields and the practical skills and leadership to guide responses to real-world challenges through data science and statistical approaches. The tutorials are aimed at company employees, international students, young researchers with various specialties (such as doctoral students and post-docs), and other students.
Industrial and Mathematical Statistics Seminar
Statistical analysis, which extracts valid information from data, is essential for solving social issues such as materials science and poverty and global environmental problems such as energy and earthquakes. In particular, data analysis is strongly related to the industry, and it is essential to address statistical issues in the industry. The Industrial and Mathematical Statistics Seminar aims to discuss cutting-edge research on statistical analysis in the industry by inviting active speakers at the forefront of various sciences and industries and to utilize this discussion for the future development of industrial mathematical statistics. The seminar will also cover topics related to state-of-the-art mathematics in industrial mathematical statistics.
